My pictures won’t do this meal justice. Just wanted to put that out there first. Second, I didn’t have onions (or onion flakes, go figure) so I used onion powder.
Week 1’s new meal: Honey Sauced Chicken
I may have put a little too much salt on the chicken originally but over rice this is exceptional. I cooked the chicken a little in the crockpot as I was cutting up the breasts then made the sauce by adding each ingredient to the crockpot and stirring it in between additions. Jerry thinks if I hadn’t cooked the chicken before the sauce was in it, I would have gotten a thicker sauce than we got (ours was the consistency of soy sauce). Oh well, we’ll see how it goes next time. :)
