Bathroom: Chapter 6

We spend a lot of time in the bathroom. (heeheehee…)

One in particular, I’m sure you know well.

I’m proud to announce, the first and second shower have been enjoyed in the first floor bathroom shower! And it’s mostly thanks to this:

AWESOME! And we got it on sale for $39.98 at Lowe’s!!! A brushed nickel tension shower rod at Wal*Mart cost $24.95!

That’s rick-diculous!

This Allen + Roth beauty is a double bar rod meaning we can hang our towels to dry on the outside bar (thus eliminating the problem we had of, “Where do we have space to hang a towel bar?!”) PLUS it’s curved! There is so much space and light let in our little bath…it’s glorious!

I’m in love…JB better watch out!

Jer installed it by drilling right through the tiles with a special tile/glass drill bit:

I couldn’t watch in case a tile split – I would die.

I should have known never to underestimate the capabilities that make up the Jer-Bear. :)

We also found these:

AMAZING! For under 12 smackers! Woohoo! Love them! It’s going to be so easy to take off the shower curtain to wash! And you have to love it when a product makes your life more simple. So the finished look:

*sigh*

My bathroom is really starting to look like a bathroom!

If only I could get all the tools out of here for GOOD!

…a girl can dream. :)

PP Find any great discoveries that have made your life a little more simple? I’d love to hear about them!
